Demolishing a Concrete Floor | Dexpan Project CS 02

Proper application of Dexpan can result in deep, expansive cracking in solid concrete surfaces.

This user began by cutting the floor into sectioned tiles with a Concrete Saw to limit the spread of Dexpan expansion and compartmentalize the future cleanup. Once the Dexpan was poured, it began to crack the concrete between these sections.

Once the product had finished expanding, the user could use the holes drilled for Dexpan as a starting point to lift and remove the now-cracked concrete.
