Removing a Concrete Slab from a Park | Dexpan Project CS 01

Dexpan Demolition Grout is a silent and safe alternative to demolition in residential areas, such as this gentle park with an unsightly and uncomfortable concrete slab used as a platform.

The same slab with holes drilled in it, filled with Dexpan product
The user drilled holes into a small section of the slab then poured the Dexpan Demolition Grout into the holes, starting with a single area to test the power of the product.

Returning  the next morning, the user could see the results of Dexpan in action, creating large cracks between the drilled holes which split the concrete into easy to move sections. The next image shows the first period of clean-up before the user began to drill more holes.
The holes have now split, forming cracks between them

With the Dexpan Demolition Grout having done its job, the concrete slab was removed, and the area beneath ready to be replanted with soft, child-friendly grass.
